Honest and Dirty Review

If you are interested in purchasing and knowing more about the products that are available from The Honest Company, look no further! I get a lot of questions about the products and what I think of them so what better than to write up a quick review on my top 8 products that I have been using over the past few months. This post is just a brief outline but if you are interested in finding out more information on these products, along with a few more, be sure to check out my in-depth review which I will be posting in the days to follow.

So with no further adieu and in no particular order, let’s get to it!

1. Diapers:Honest Company Review
These I absolutely adore because they are super cute! I love the different patterns that they have and that they don’t give my son any rashes. That being said, there is one issue, although this doesn’t happen often, I do find that the diapers aren’t as absorbent as I’d like them to be. I have had a few leaks and blowouts and it hasn’t been pretty! In most cases this happens through the night because my son decides become an acrobat or it is just one of those diapers – eeek! ….. Butt I guess that comes with the territory!

2. Wipes:Honest Company Review
The wipes are scent free and textured which are amazing for wiping and cleaning up those messy diapers I was mentioning earlier. I like that they aren’t too wet so that there isn’t any moisture left when you tie on a new diaper.  I had used the Pampers Natural Clean wipes and I did like how gentle they were, but I did find that they would leave a lot more moisture on the tuchus.

3. Face & Body Lotion:Honest Company Review
This has to be one of the silkiest, the most smoothest lotions I have ever tried! I use this for both myself and for my son everyday and a little bit goes a long way! I’ve had the lotion for almost 5 months now and there is still 1/4 of product left! Talk about bang for your buck!

4. Organic Body Oil:Honest Company Review
Love the mild, sweet orange scent. I use this every night to give my son a massage after his bath and I like the fact that it doesn’t leave any greasy residue on him.

5. Bug Spray:Honest Company Review
Comes in an easy to use pump as opposed to an aerosol can which I like. The scent is a little strong but a little bit goes a long way. As someone who is always on the buffet list for mosquitos, I have found this to be the most effective! (No wonder they’re always sold out of this!)

6. Fruit & Veggie Wash:Honest Company Review
So simple and easy to use! I just spray the wash on my produce and leave them to sit in a bowl for a few minutes before rinsing them in cool water.

7. Suds Up:Honest Company Review
I actually have a unique use for their dish brush. Instead of using it to wash dishes, I actually use this along with my Fruit & Veggie Wash when cleaning my produce. After the veggies have sat in the wash for a few minutes I give them a good scrub down with the brush to remove any grit and build up.

8. Healing Balm…a.k.a. Magic Goo in a Tube:Honest Company Review
Aaahhhhhhh (angels sing when you use this stuff!) It is aah-mazing at healing ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING! From scrapes and rashes to burns and dryness, it provides instant relief and minimizes scars. I would have to say that this product is my absolute favorite and at any given time you can see me ordering a few!
