I’m back…. sorry for the unexpected hiatus but what can I say? Between summer bbq’s, home renos, endless DIY projects and a teething baby that has decided not to sleep anymore, there has been very little time for me to actually sit down and write. I’ve been taking lots of pictures and have a few posts in the works so hold on tight!
I can’t believe that summer is already over and that school started a few days ago. I went to the store the other day and they already had some Christmas decorations for sale! REALLY? We haven’t even had Halloween yet people! I feel like I’m in a rat race and at this point just trying to stay afloat. One minute I’m barbequing and enjoying the summer and next thing you know it’s time to pull out the winter gear and get ready for the cold weather that we’re so blessed to have in Canada. Do you ever feel like that? In a blink of an eye a few weeks turns into months and before you know it you’re back where you started….just a year later.
What happened to the good old days? When life was simple and we weren’t SO obsessed with staying connected through social media? Anyways, the purpose of this post was to let you know that I’m sill here and alive. The blog is not dead, we just took a bit of a ‘summer vacation’ if you will.
